Rachel

Rachel Broaddus is the oldest of the girls at 24. She plays the guitar and sings most of the lead and soprano vocals, as well as harmony vocals. She is a prolific song writer in the band, and provides them with a soft and lovely sound with her angelic voice and gentle guitar playing. Simplicity is of value what with so many young musicians striving to get too technical and difficult with songs, but Rachel balances this out nicely, bringing the band back down to earth and displaying the importance of a song in itself; the significance and beauty of what you are really singing in your humble attitude towards God.

Aside from her music, she is an author of childrens' books and is continually progressing in art. She is a passionate reader, enjoying western novels most of all, and has a genuine love for her dogs, whom she cares for diligently for the rest of the family members to enjoy.

The pleasant atmosphere that she carries around with her fills the room and brightens the communication between the band as a whole and the audience. Not only does Rachel help in managing this onstage, but she also plays her part in bringing life to the comical side of four sisters that have lived amongst each other all their lives, playing and singing together, and how they interact with one another.

Sarah

Sarah Broaddus is the next oldest, at 22 years old, and sings most of the alto positions, both lead and harmony. She enjoys writing and arranging songs, and plays the guitar, 5-string banjo, flute, and tin whistle in the band.

Passion is a prerequisite in Sarah's life. Time is of the essence, and as they daily strive to make the most of their time individually and as a band together, they are continually searching for yet more to learn and grow in. Other than her efforts in the band, Sarah enjoys art (oil, charcoal, and pastel), riding and caring for her horses (studies in the levels programs of Pat Parelli), and thoroughly treasures her peaceful time of playing the piano and worshipping her Lord and Maker.

If there was a designated technician in the band, this position would most likely fall on Sarah. The band will usually look to her for commands, and she regulates many of the happenings and decisions. This was not something that was chosen or decided of her or any of the group members, but came about naturally over time. There is one word that comes to mind when describing Sarah's character in and out of the band, and that would be "mother."

Hannah

Hannah Broaddus, 20, provides the group with a bright and new sound with her unique voice. She also writes an equal amount of the bands' songs, as well as having a part in the arranging. She plays the fiddle, mandolin, and guitar for the band, and sings both lead and harmony vocals.

Along with all of her musical abilities, Hannah also specializes in art in the form of oil, charcoal, and pastel work. She mostly enjoys portraying the expressions of many outstanding and famous musicians that she so dearly admires. She also enjoys writing poetry and stories simply for the entertainment of family members and close individuals.

On stage you will find her vibrant and full of life, as she so often is. The energy that she projects is vital to the band, and as with any of the other sisters, the band would definitely discontinue with out her. She loves to indulge herself in a peaceful afternoon of just playing on the piano and singing,  and the sincerity of her heart truly shines in all that she does.

Rebecca

Rebecca Broaddus, at 15, is not only the youngest in the band, but also the youngest of 7 siblings. She began in music at a very early age as all of her older siblings were getting involved in it, and so has been around it her entire life.  She has just begun to write her own songs and also contributes in this area by helping to arrange songs for the band. She plays the piano, bass, and bouzouki, as well as filling in with harmony vocals and singing lead occasionally.

At so young an age and already so far in her musical career, Rebecca has many interests. She is an excellent writer, and daily astounds her hungry readers with new material that she comes up with. She also enjoys oil painting and has won numerous ribbons with her art at local art shows.

At first glance, this quiet young girl may come off as shy and perhaps disinterested, but at closer inspection, you will detect the slyness and nonchalance in her demeanor. She is definitely the secret weapon, and once warmed up to you and in her comfort zone, quite quick witted and outspoken. One day soon she is going to pop right out and reveal her true identity while performing. As it is, she hasn't decided that she wants to say anything yet. She'll come around... just watch and see.
